Hey everyone I have a question.

I’m going in to my 3rd season of autocross with HSCC. Since the end of the season I have sold my 05 Acura RSX and purchased a 2007 Dodge Charger R/T. As most of you may know I’ve always been a Mopar guy and am anxious to drive my big HEMI Powered boat of a car around the track. That being said, with a new car means a new class. What class would you all think would be best for a stock 2007 Dodge Charger R/T Road & Track? It’s not an SRT8. I was thinking CAM-C would be best where I won’t be struggling to compete against F-Street cars such as new Ford Mustangs and Chevy Camaros. I appreciate everyone’s feedback and I look forward to the award banquet and 2017 season.

Depends on what you’re looking to do to the car. Your car can fit in FS, STU, and CAM-C.

If you plan on leaving it alone, you’ll get a significantly better PAX in FS.

If you plan on modifying it within the year, you’ll probably be better served in CAM-C due to the very loose rules.

I wouldn’t put the car in STU. It’s got a worse PAX than CAM-C and the rules are more restrictive.

FS will have more competitors, but your car will never be competitive against them (short of maybe older mustangs/camaros).

If it were me, I’d go CAM-C.

I dunno, with Gary’s new toy, Jake may be looking for someone to compete against in FS.  You’ll get hammered in STU, so either FS or CAM-C.

Now that I think about it, Craig Colont has the Lincoln Mark 8 in CAM-C. That’d be a pretty awesome shootout to watch.
