      We may have an issue with fuel, due to the pipeline being shutdown. It should be considered that we may need to cancel the event due to this. I will have to tow 4+ hours that day, and I’m not sure if that is a good use of my fuel if I have to make it to work the next week after the event AND come up for the night series.

      If the fuel starts to flow again, I would like to help with Novice steward for Both sessions or tech in afternoon/blowing off course in the morning. Does my son at 10yo need to work? Just need to know how much sun screen to bring!

        Hey Wesley,

        Safety rules don’t allow a minor to be on the track to work while cars are running. Typically I encourage the kids to help chalk cones or help where they can with setup or tear down but typically no official worker assignment is given to the junior drivers. Hope this helps.

        Makes total sense, just wanted to make sure. Matthew will help as much as he can, within the rules.

      Preston Black will be there to be the Junior Kart Safety Steward and will also blow the track.

      It looks like not many people access this message board anymore. Just an observation. With the pipeline starting back up, we should have fuel soon, but possibly not during the weekend. I may take 2 weeks to get everything back to normal, but I wanted to at least pose this question – What is the club going to do? Are you considering cancelling the event?

      I personally will take the chance to drive 5 hours round-trip, towing, just so that my son will make his first day series event. I vote we keep the event now that the Colonial pipeline is flowing again.

        Wesley–No one else has mentioned anything to me about canceling. The events should run as planned.

      There’s not any plans to cancel this event that I am aware of.

        Dave (or anyone in contact with Dave) —can we get the trailer there by 7am? Can someone confirm this time works?
        Thanks!

      Please remove me from my assigned duty for this event. I will not be able to make it. Thanks, Josh

      I am willing to be worker steward for both Morning and Afternoon.

      Also, I put in the club trailer,
      * Helmets
      * 3 cans of Lysol Disinfectant Sprays kill 99.9% of the viruses and bacteria to bring peace of mind
      * A case of bottled water
      * 20 Annual Tech Inspection Request, the cash box and 20 Annual Tech Sticker for 2021 ( I recommend one person be in charge of ATS sales )
      * A Pack of STIHL 2.6 Ounce High Performance Ultra 2 Cycle Engine Oil, for backpack blowers premix.
