This is the worker thread for Day Series 5 on August 8, 2020 (the correct one that was supposed to be #5). This is a split day event so please indicate if you are signing up for the Morning or Afternoon session (set-up and course blowing are Morning only, teardown is Afternoon only). For afternoon assignments, plan on being onsite between 12:30 and 1:00. Signing up for a worker assignment here will take the place of a worker assignment day-of. Please make sure to check-in with the worker steward at the event.

Put me down for setup please.
-
I can help with tech for both sessions.
-
I will be the Novice Steward for the AM session.
-
Frank, I apologize but I can’t make it to Franklin on Sat. Some things have come up. I had signed up for the Novice walk. I’m sure one of you can do that. I will be cancelling my registration on motorsportreg. You guys have a great day!

Kris, Emily will be ok doing check in Alone. I put Kaelan down to help set up cones. Let me know if that doesn’t work.
-
-
Garrett Schmidt is available for set-up.
-
Hi Troy,
Sorry but there are no more setup spots available. The only spots open are for sticking around after and helping to pick up the cones. Would you like me to put Garrett down for that?

Keith,
What does this have to do with the worker assignments for the event on 8/8?

Nothing much.
Just that Motorsportreg shows this class for this event (8-8-2020) as “Junior Kart A (ages 12-18)”
Should be Junior Kart A (JA): Driver must be 12-16 years old. That’s all.
Sorry for using the wrong form to bring this to someone’s attention.-

I helped out Kaelan by registering him for the event. I may have put him in the wrong class. It’s very easy to fix the day of the event.

Kaelan is in KM
Still should change the age in Motorsportreg — Should be Junior Kart A (JA): Driver must be 12-16 years old.
Motorsportreg shows this class for this event (8-8-2020) as “Junior Kart A (ages 12-18)”
That’s all.-
Ok I think I understand now. I’ll mess around with MotorsportsReg tomorrow and see if I can fix it.

Thanks Frank for helping with Kaelan’s registration – and I have gone to the Motorsports.reg account and updated his class to “Kart Modified” just a few minutes ago. So I think we should be OK there.
Sorry for the confusion, and looking forward to seeing everybody on Saturday.
