And that brings us to the present. John ended up selling the car due to an issue it had; it wouldn’t rev above 2200rpm. While that was great for launch control, it wasn’t really good for anything else. The problem ended up being a bad ecu. Anyway, my friend owned the car for a few months, did a street alignment, and was running it on the spare all seasons that it had initially as a daily driver. I got the car a few weeks ago and haven’t done much to it other than a full detail and swapping the Racing Beat catback that was on smurf onto this car.
The plans for it now are just to get it back into a race-ready configuration. New alignment, essentially the same that John ran minus the toe. A new cold air intake might find its way on the car, but that’s to be determined.
